Microsoft Lync in the Meeting Room

Microsoft Lync in the Meeting Room

Ashton Bentley releases their Lync Room Environments to enable personal Microsoft Lync (2010 and 2013) accounts to be used in a meeting room, with all the professional audio-visual facilities expected in today’s meetings.

Their idea is to end the need for dedicated appliances and reduces the preparation time for meetings, so one could move seamlessly between desk and meeting room, taking your Lync account with you.

You could work with a familiar interface (your corporate-build laptop or your dedicated meeting room PC) with all your personal Lync settings, documents and other applications.

Using your standard software or favorite web interface, you can add new participants during a meeting, introduce new materials, and share programs and data from non-Lync devices. Read more...
