VidyoH2O for Google+ Hangouts

Working in collaboration with Google, VidyoH2O for Google+ Hangouts connects existing business voice and video solutions to Google+ Hangout sessions.

VidyoH2O for Google+ Hangouts will extend usability for Google+ Hangouts users by allowing connectivity with H.323/SIP video conferencing and IP PBX systems from Avaya, Cisco, Lifesize, Polycom and Vidyo.

Offered on a subscription basis as both on-premise and as a cloud-hosted offering, “H2O” is short for “Hangouts 2 Others” and enables Hangouts interoperability with installed enterprise solutions.

VidyoH2O follows on the success of the VidyoRouter architecture that disrupted the traditional video conferencing paradigm with its ability to deliver easy-to-use, reservation-less, HD multiparty video calls over the internet with the collaboration features of web conferencing, all for the price of a phone call. ISE 2014 Relaunch for Xavtel

Following an ISE 2013 introduction the PAX Group decides on a stronger launch for the Xavtel brand and product lineup at ISE 2014, pointing out its diversification into high-end pro AV and conferencing markets.

The backone of ever system is network-based, promising 100Mbit (64 audio channels) or 1Gbit (420 or 600 channels) with just 2ms latency for multi-channel networks built on either redundant loop or star-wired topologies.

Products seen at ISE 2014 include the DIALOGO high-end tabletop conferencing range and the SENATOR conferencing, voting and translation solution. Built on high-speed redundant network technology, SENATOR handles the individual processing of up to 504 delegate units over a single DSP processor.

Revolabs Conferencing at ISE 2014

Revolabs uses ISE 2014 to launch a pair of conferencing audio systems-- the third generation Executive Elite 4- and 8-channel wireless microphone systems and the FLX UC500 USB conference phone.

The Executive Elite uses distributed architecture to connect a remote antenna receiver and base DSP units via standard Cat 6 cable complete with Power over Ethernet (PoE). Such a system improves wireless connectivity by allowing the placement of recievers and wireless microphones in the same room.

Microphones feature a redesigned look, superior audio pickup and an "intelligent" battery system allowing for up to 12 hours of continuous use. Users can also synchronise multiple receivers, allowing use of up to 160 audio channels for wireless microphones at any given deployment.

The software also sees improvements, with a web-based version allowing simple operation and cloud-based management (following a Q2 2014 update) over any browser.
